Description

The NGH-10 High Gain Network Gateway combines a WiSens V31 USB ZigBee Module with a more directional antenna to boost signal levels between it and other wireless network devices. It is packaged in an IP-67 rated enclosure for outdoor use and communicates with the computer via a USB 2.0 connector at the end of a 3 metre cable.

The built-in application and Ember stack manage all the communications with other devices on the network and with the Epidata Serial Handler software in the computer. The NGH-10 High Gain Network Gateway is programmed as a ZigBee network co-ordinator.

The NGH-10 High Gain Network Gateway provides a connection between the ZigBee wireless sensor network and the IT infrastructure. The High Gain directional antenna is intended for situations where longer or more difficult communications paths apply. It is also designed to cater for situations where positioning the Network Gateway outside is required.
