The SiCA Platform for Street Lights is a fully wireless street light monitoring and control system. It allows facility managers to remotely control street lights while keeping track of electrical power consumption in the lamps and ballasts.

Based on the Zigbee wireless standard, any number of street lights can be connected together in a secure and reliable mesh network and monitored via existing Asset Management systems or other control and monitoring software.

This system can produce substantial energy savings by controlling lamp dimming and detecting day burning lights. It can also streamline fault detection by alerting the control centre of problems in real-time.
